Client Responsibilities
At Jevik, we emphasize the importance of clear communication and cooperation between our team and our clients. Each client has specific responsibilities to ensure that events run smoothly.
Provision of Event Details
Clients must provide comprehensive details about the event at least two weeks prior to the scheduled date. This includes information such as the venue address, event start and end times, and guest count. We require a finalized menu selection and any special dietary requests during this time.
To avoid misunderstandings, we encourage clients to share any specific themes or requests. A confirmation of these details will help us allocate resources effectively and ensure that we meet the client’s expectations without last-minute changes.
Venue Access
Clients are responsible for ensuring that we have access to the venue for setup and breakdown. Arrangements should be made to allow our team entry at least two hours before the event start time. This includes coordinating with venue management regarding any loading dock or parking restrictions.
In case of delays or issues with access, clients must inform us as soon as possible. Any failure to communicate these access issues can lead to complications in service delivery and may affect the overall experience for guests.
Compliance with Legal Requirements
Clients must ensure that all necessary permits and licenses for the event are secured in advance. This includes compliance with local health and safety regulations, especially concerning food service. It is important that the venue adheres to applicable laws surrounding food preparation and serving.
We also request that clients inform us of any insurance requirements necessary for the event. This ensures that we operate within legal parameters and protects both parties in the event of unforeseen circumstances. Clients are encouraged to review venue policies and communicate these to us as needed.
Changes to Menu
We offer the flexibility to modify our menu according to your preferences or dietary requirements. Any changes must be communicated to us at least one week prior to your event date. This allows us to source fresh ingredients and make necessary adjustments.
For menu changes, please specify the following:
- New items: List any additional dishes you wish to include.
- Exclusions: Indicate any specific items you want to remove.
- Dietary needs: Inform us of allergies or special dietary restrictions.
We will do our best to accommodate your requests, but please note that not all modifications may be feasible based on ingredient availability.
